A touch warm

We come down to Scottsdale on Saturday to finalize some paperwork for my new US Company and a little r&r and there is a leak in the A/C. Two days running and it has been 96 inside the house. Not very comfortable. While enduring this I could not help but feel that enduring summer in Arizona is opposite but equally difficult to our enduring winter weather. You do not want to be outside for long, you rush indoors, no matter what you wear you cannot get comfortable. At home if the furnace goes out in the winter its hell, here if the A/C goes out I think it's a little worse than hell.

At home you want to warm up the car before going anywhere and sitting on an ice cold seat is unpleasant. Here you want to cool down the car before getting in. My buddy has a home here and he put a car starting in his vehicle to start it to cool it down. Most people here have not thought of doing this so he stands out a bit when he uses the remote starter. Anyway, Desert vs. Arctic. So different yet so the same.

Yeah, I was down there just a few weeks ago when it was a buck fifteen. I'll be in Mesa again next week for a day or two. You can definitely draw some parallels to our cold. That said, I heard it's supposed to hit 36 here this weekend! I'm coming up to Edm for the Champ car race, I hope you guys order up some cooler weather. It was stinkin' hot up there last year, too.

I can't imagine that kind of heat.......I don't mind our heat so much which gets up to 30's occasionally, but 40's would be a bit much....

When I was there it was 45, but only 8% humidity, but I don't care how dry it is, it's still stinkin' hot! Looks like I'm NOT going to Mesa for work next week after all. August 15th is the new day, maybe it will have cooled off by then.

Heh its been in the 80's here in WA for the last few days, hit 103 last week. My store has no AC and its an old metal building so doesn't have insulation.... I think on that 103 day it was like 115-120 in my store..... right now I feel like its 85 in here while its 75 outside.
