Hi guys... sorry but I've been real busy the last few days.
WOW..When the list started to grow I never expected it to hit 30 cars.... but here we are & beyond.

I had an experience with a large cruise that went bad. (cops involved, tickets etc)
They can get very difficult to manage on the road, if the group gets TOO large.

Behind the scenes (via PMs & e-mail) we've had other requests from members to involve their friends in this meet.
While we hated to turn friends down, we explained our desire to keep the numbers to a manageable level.

They understood & will NOT be inviting other friends.
I'm sorry, but it really wouldn't be fair to them, if we opened it up now.

There will be a "Fall tour" around the middle of October(looks like the 14th). Its put on by C7performance...the Celica group. It involves many different car clubs.

the better idea would be invite the friend, but sit in the car instead of driving with us...this way it's safer to take rolling pics Plus they still get a cruise of it.

I'm assuming the key part is to keep the number of cars down, not the number of participants, but I'll let Ian have the last say to that assumption.

This should be a little more fun than all the parking lot meets we used to have.

BTW.. anyone heard from God|Zilla168 (Eric) lately????
I know he has wheel problems, but I figured he'd be all over this meet.

 

I cant wait until sunday...things are looking really good for this meet...
I also thought that Eric would be on this like white on rice...lol...hopefully he will make an appearance

 

I just have to say we owe Ian a big thanks for the cruise. He and I talked about this last winter, how nice it would be to have a cruise instead of a Parking lot meet. Well Ian has done all the leg-work and mapping for this meet.

I was lucky enough to do a Pre-run last Sunday with my wife. It was worth the 540 km trip from Kincardine and back last week to check out the cruise. All I can say is you will not be disappointed, lots and lots of nice scenery (some of the leaves were starting to turn into their Autum colours), some nice twisties, etc. I won't say anymore about it, except I can hardly wait till this Sunday to do the cruise again and meet a lot of old friends and meet some more enthusiusts.

and where is Eric ??? Has anyone talked to him ? It would be nice to see the mods on his Coupe and of course we could put his new found camera skillz to work
