Was in Colorado Springs for the weekend so I had to make the drive up Pikes Peak. As luck would have it, it was closed to the public on Saturday...for the famous HILLCLIMB!!! Went back on Sunday and it was a blast to drive up...my sphincter was puckered for much of the drive. Good times...

 

I wondered why we hadn 't heard from you, Shane......Looks like you had a blast in Colorado and just driving up Pike's Peak would be a hoot too....

I've got a friend in Denver who's done that and says it's a real experience...

Great pics too...What a view from up there.....

We also had fun a little closer to home tho....at Shannonville....in the AAE.

You'd have loved that too....hope you can make it next time...

Work has been pretty busy so I haven't been able to do as much car stuff as I would've liked. But I can't really complain when I get the opportunity to drive up Pikes Peak! I'm in Anaheim, CA for the rest of this week...wonder what kind of trouble I can get into.
