last night a friend and I went for a cruise downtown around 12:30am to see what kind of parties were taking place for the film festival, and to my surprise i see a audi r8 just parked up on King st. W and portland....... I was speechless...the car is absolutely amazing by all means...i took some pics with my crappy camera phone tho...

thanks, the funniest part thou...some guy driving in a 360 modena saw the car and started to rev his engine and then took off...i guess he couldn't take the competition...lol

 

saw one of those a few blocks from my house. i didn't like the pics I saw online/in brochures, but the car is gorgeous in person.

I was downtown on Saturday for some film festival parties and saw almost every car I've ever dreamed of including:

Porsche Carrera GT modified by Gembella (Mirage GT)
Lamborghini Murcielago, Gallardo Spyder
McLaren SLR
Ferrari, F360, F430, 575M
Maserati MC12
Various 911's including GT3 RS, Turbo's, etc
2006 Viper GTS

I also had the pleasure of driving one of my friends Ferrari's (512 BB) around for about an hour. It wasn't anything special compared to the other cars but it was still kinda cool.

It's car heaven down there this week!

 

I also saw that same carrera gt that u mentioned....it looks like they brought out all the big guns for this film festival....and it must have been cool to drive your friend's ferrari....cause a friend of mine has a 360 modena and when I was in the passenger seat I felt like so giddy....lol....imagine if I got to drive that beast?....I'd probably wet my pants....haha

Ahhh ,i got one of those in Need for speed carbon canyon . It ain't nothing special.
LMAO , i am such an *** , my cousin saw it at a Tim hortons in sauga an hour or so ago. I saw it at the auto show and the cladding threw me as it did not flow but looked real nice. Everyone who worked there on press day had no idea what the carbon was for never mind it being a vent. i love everything but the vent.

 

Nice, apparently our Audi dealer here has the R8 and is also offering test drives on an RS4 today.
