i got my letter from infiniti regarding the i-key, and brought back to the dealer for a replacement key, they told me will get a new set key, but the one i got doesnt really look like new one.

anyone have done this?

 

Take a look on the ikey under the metal key where the specs are, if the key is a new one it will have a little circle (kinda diamond shaped) in the bottom right corner. There's a picture of what to look for in the bulletin published by Infiniti which is available for download in the FAQ sticky in the 2007+ sedan forum.

 

I got my letter in the mail from Infiniti yesterday. It will be November/December before I make it to the dealership to get it replaced though.......along with a few other TSBs that need to be done.

 

What will Hyatt Infiniti be facing on September 25th...lets see...ikey replacement, heated seats TSB, chipped grill, chiped wheel (not curbed)...I think that's it for now.
