- CD player had problems playing CDs, and the whole she-bang was replaced under warranty.
- Coincidentally, sound quality also improved afterwards.

The car has around 41,000 kms now. IMO, the styling can still hold it's own when parked next to an '07. Very sporty, except it looks much more compact.

Issues with my G :
Brakes NC 46 000, just a month after I got her.
Gas tank thingy TSB
window motor NC
getting 42 and being classified twice as a hoser cuz I listened to 35 who called me a hoser up fornt and ten again by not crossing an arbitrary point( dang spelin lezons pays of, eh )
Compression joint Rt side split 3 ways, cost 2 Bills ( If "you know who" had to pay, he'd be 33Bills now )
CD unit NC
Speeding ticket,( 3rd day ) not my fault. How'd I know the
G would go so fast.
I have a feeling there was more, just don't (want to ) remember now. OFS.
The only shake, rattle and roll I've gotten from my G comes from the speakers
BTW I agree with Bill and Wayne ... thanks Ian.

Chrome finish peeled off the G35 trunk badge - replaced under warranty.

Umm... that's it. Turned over 30,000 km yesterday.

Thanks so much Ian, I just love them. I do get a lot of compliments about them. When you parted out that beautiful G you put a lot of smiles on faces of a few people here that were lucky enough to get some of your mods .

and thanks Deane

i've had similar problems to yours.. maybe mine is your younger brother's.. just gonna copy and paste...

-cruise control failure~ corrected with new unit check
-rear axle click~ TSB corrected check
-tire feathering~ no fix 4 alignments in 25k kms check - still on-going for me
-clicking clutch pedal~ corrected with new pin and entire new slave cylinder assly check - was still on-going for me till a new thread on the forums helped correct it... thank you!
-drivetrain? howling noise for about 1-5kms from left rear when below 10 C~ unable to diagnose check - still got this one.. and winter's a coming !
-seat rocking/noise~ corrected myself check - corrected at dealer though

some noteworthy additions:
-aluminum trim on passenger side popping out ~replaced at dealer.
-condensation inside the passenger taillight ~replaced at dealer.
-trouble filling fuel ~flapper replaced at dealer
-stereo problem#1, bass/treble reset on vehicle start-up ~stereo replaced... problem still there
-stereo problem #2, massive skipping/freezing/errors on display ~stereo replaced
-driver side heated seat stopped working ~switch replaced at dealer
-driver's side window shaking when going up/down and my window is scratched ~motor was replaced but they wouldn't touch the scratch.
-water leaking in after window motor replacement ~weatherstripping was replaced.
-car wouldn't start one morning. had it towed. ~some sort of fuel management problem. took 3 weeks to correct... and i was forced to take a vacation day b/c of all the chaos with the tow and trying to arrange a loaner car
-driver's side seatbelt not retracting properly ~dealer tells me it's caused by the boomerang that's seated in there.... charge me for their time. i go and have the boomerang moved elsewhere... seatbelt still messed up ~dealer admits to problem but never credits me back for the initial charges

hummmmm... think that's it

-recently, i need to fix my rear-view mirror rattle... plus i've got paint chipping off the garage door buttons. oy!

gotta admit that my love for the car and especially infiniti service has completely eroded away

by next spring i will be happily rolling in some new wheels.. can't wait!

^ Interesting similarities on the 6mt. Shame about the other things you're experiencing and the bad dealer service. That's something I can't complain about. Treated like a king at my dealer.

You're welcome re the clutch.

My G is likely to stay in the family for a fair bit so hope it now stays healthy.

- My G is pulling the right slightly
- The sunroof liner thingy is just dangling (always have to push it back in)
- rear deck rattles very, very litte, but noticeable when listening to music with bass

Maybe I'll stop by the dealership to see what's up.

Not too many problems.

04 G35X
24,000 km (I know, low mileage!)

CD player jammed - replaced once - the new one has started to have problems.

Brakes - pads replaced twice (!) - this one really, really annoys me.

Creaking from front suspension when going over bumps - dealer said they couldn't find a problem (!).
