Saw one of these things today while going home for lunch from school. It took me awhile to actually realize what car it was. It looked really cool on the road plus veryyy random. Oh how I wish I took some pics from my phone...well here's what it looked like:

IIRC, they were never sold here.... must have imported it from Europe.

 

^definitely. Renault has no cars here. I'm not recognizing the cars shown in the photos. Is that from Europe?

 

im pretty sure those pics were taken in Europe....are u sure it wasn't one of the elise spiders?

 

It was definitely imported since I know myself that they don't sell Renault cars here.

 

What dealership did you see this at?

 

I think you saw a yellow Lotus Elise...I wouldn't think that car would pass specs for Canada.

I'm positive I saw it lol. I know for sure it wasn't the lotus. I saw it on Atkinson and Bathurst.

Someone went to a lot of trouble to import it then.
IIRC the specs weren't anything too wild..
I think it went out of production in the late '90s
