and the D3 at our cost isn't really all that much cheaper maybe 50 bucks, it's the accessories where they rape you

great unit.
as for installation if I go through the store chances are I'll have to charge 200 (because it takes forever and it's a DVD-nav setup) if I was to do it on a day off I'd say 75 or so... I'd have to see the kit though in order to give a proper estimate. PM me if you're interested.
That's a great offer, what a nice guy.

I ordered my DDIN kit a few days ago as well. I PM'd Troy back a couple of weeks ago, he said he was going to do the install on his car and he'd let me know how it went. I haven't had a chance to follow up with him since then though.

Another option might be Audioheaven, a lot of guys got their tint done by them and I was just there last weekend getting my tint done, Jeff said he can do the DDIN installation as well, think he said something like 75-100 bucks for just the DDIN installation, probably more if you're going to upgrade speakers, subs and amps. Btw Fadz are you just doing the HU upgrade and keeping stock speakers and amp, do you have the Bose system in your car?

Btw I was at Futureshop last weekend as well, went to take another look at the AVIC D3, they're selling it for $1200...I tried haggling them lol cause it's going for a lot cheaper in the States especially with the currency right now. The guy said he could sell it to me for $999, so if you're going to pick it up from there, at least don't pay $1200 for it cause that's a complete rip off.

JMO, but don't let someone do it that hasn't already done one.
Don't let them learn on your car.

Did you get the HVAC controller board?
& you'll have to modify for the dual climate control.
