You'll feel safe now. Price seems fair for local in Canada. Just keep in mind you need to drive for the conditions. You are in Canada after all.

That price with rims installed sounds pretty good for Canada.
The Blizzaks will wear fast if driven a lot in temps above 10C on highways. They are an awesome snow and ice tire , but also remember their speed rating is less than your stock tires.
I have had Blizzaks on my last two cars and love them.

I'll let you know soon, got a new set waiting to go on. Been holding off day by day until it actually snows. $1350 w/rims doesn't sound too bad.

Still running them on my 03' since fall 2002. I think I will get another season out of them for sure, if not two.

Well it happened, woke up to the white stuff this morning. Didn't stay on the roads, so I'm not putting the winter boots on yet. Probably one of the next couple of weekends, though.

Where did you get them? (I live near high park), looking for some place locally (although many are mentioning great deals for tires bought from USA)

From my experience, that is a really good deal! Much better than what I was able to negotiate last year for wheels and tires not nearly as good.

I picked up my Blizzaks with Akuza 18" wheels last year for $2200.
