Calling Kevin (aka Picus) - Your Review on BWM 335
Kevin, now that you have owned your BWM for over a year or so, how do you like it? Any issues with your car? And how does it drive in the winter? Easy to spin in winter? I am thinking of going over to the dark side for the 335 coupe. However, I don't like the 3-Series workmanship and interior but I do like the power and 4-year maintanence service. If you can shed light on this subject that would be great. Thanks.

I we're a couple of old relics Wayne.
I'd also be interested in Kevin's review. Last year as some of you know, I went so far as putting a deposit down on a 335i coupe but then I chickened out. Wouldn't you know it, now that winter is here and the Z is hiding in the garage, I'm back to thinking I should sell the Z and join the 335 club.
There are quite a few 335's on sale in the US for a far lower price than what you'd have to pay in Canada, plus I could apply the savings to a new suspension, wheels/rubber and of course the Procede piggyback computer by Vishnu Tuning. Apparently the Procede adds another 60 whp and 80 to 100 lb ft of torque. That would probably be enough to take my mind off of the fact that the new M3 is out of my price range.
Anyway, I've taken my PIAA Super Rozza's & Michelin Pilot A/S set off of the Z and will likely be posting something in our Marketplace section. Would have loved to have kept the wheels, but BMW's and Z's have different bolt patterns.
Kevin - let's hear it about the 335. Or, I'll search the posts at www.e90post.com.

.. so like this site, take it with a grain of salt. i was lurking there to see what kind of quirks the car had. i didn't really find anything major. good luck on your decision.. hope it all works out.
Yes. I have also looked at the MB C350 Sport but their prices aren't great and not much discounts or lease incentives. I have heard that the new S5s are in. They starts at $65K with about 350 hp. I too am thinking of an 335 cab. In comparison to the C350 or any Audis, the 335 interior is a little bid plain. I hope I don't get flamed. Hehe.
