got a 2003 g35c , lots of fun out there espcially with m6, definately put the blizzak ws-50 to the test saturday late night.......
it's got lots of great on the straight line but on the turns there's slipping but it's not too bad...... way better then the stock michelans, wasn't moving with those

Got a pantload of snow and now rain here today. Getting out of my street was easy this morning. Downhill, coming back, still not plowed and about 8" on the roads and lots of ruts was a challenge, even with the snows. So I backed down and .... it was doable in reverse. Necessity is the mother of invention. Can hardly wait to leave in the morning and swoosh down the hill and onto the plowed road.

I have to say I'm not overwhelmed with my WS-60's. Far better than my A/S Toyo's but IMO not as good as the GY Ultra grips I had on my previous car. My other car was light and FWD, that may have made a difference, but it, too was horrid in the snow with the BS RE910s I had on it.
I drive with a light touch and most of the time all is fine, but I do see more slippage than I expected. Nearly didn't make it up the ramp to my parkade last week - tried VDC on, VDC off, I finally spun my way up, then vowed always to take the OTHER ramp up...though I have to drive halfway around the block, it's fully instead or partially covered and always bare and dry.
Maybe I'm doing it wrong. I'll have to double-check my tire pressure and such.

My car Slip indicator along with the reassuring "GRRR" noise comes at every time I drive straight, turn, and brake , haha. I kind have come to tune it out and drive normally with it, before I would slow down when it would come on, but the frequency is too much for me to mind. So far I haven't actually slipped yet, haha.

vancity got 6-8" over the weekend. with new all-seasons the G was OK on flatter sections of road, but and incline grade over 3% is dicey at best. if we had snow on a regular basis snow tires would be a must. the g/f's honda civic becomes the snow vehicle - skinny tires & fwd is a better combo than the G.
i found that switching the VDC off allowed me to climb hills that i couldn't with it on. VDC kills power and forward momentum and made the G useless on hills.
