Re: Aftermarket breaks

If I have $$, I would definitely get a set of Stoptech 14.1", even there is warranty on stock brake......

No. There is no stock brembo brake for G35 sedan.

Re: Aftermarket breaks

I can't say which one is better cuz I only hv non-brembo on my G. But according to many review about Stoptech on my350z.com, I would say Stoptech will give you best bang for bucks.

Sure many high performance car use Brembo, but from what I heard, Brembo just overpriced. Don't get me wrong, Brembo is a good brand. But it just act like our Bose sound system (Famous brand on high end vehicle, but quality wise...)

If you wouldn't mind to pay more, Brembo isn't a bad idea. Just put whichever you think it's suitable for you(I got a overpriced GruppeM on my G too )

Re: Aftermarket brakes

Why is everyone so concerned about break pads? Whats wrong with the original factory brake pads that come with the vehicle? Nevermind that, we have the recent BRAKE PAD CAMPAIGN(WARRANTY), so make use of the original pads and when u need new ones just go over to the dealership comment on the fact that they are squeaking etc..as this is one of the symptoms or flaws with the pads and you'll get the new ones!

Re: Aftermarket brakes

Well, the problem seems to be that the factory brake pads (non-brembo) wear out too soon - that's why the warranty campaign. However, some people who have had theirs replaced under the warranty campaign have complained that the "new" replacement brake pads are worse.

I haven't had mine replaced yet so I don't know for sure.
