Only 9 cars for sale!?

There ought to be plenty of demand in Vancouver, Calgary, and TO.

Great. I'm sure they'll enjoy idling them through congested freeways and streets.

I thought this thread was about Canadian MSRP prices.

cause 6 GT-R's being delivered to SoCal has everything to do with Canadian MSRP prices.

why would canada only get 10 units for the entire country? makes no sense. why even bother selling here at all? just skip first year and re-allocate a decent amount for the following year. even cars like the aston martin vanquish and murcielago have higher alotments. i thought this car is designed to compete against something like the corvette and was value priced as such... they're not off to a good start if this is their sales strategy.

also about the msrp... has anyone ever seen a new vehicle sold in canada that was over the msrp? i only here about this happening in the u.s. i've never heard of a single instance where this has happened here.

6 cars as in the first batch of GTR this is not 6 car for the whole entire year, although I don't know when the second batch will come in. You have to understand there is a huge demand for this car and for sure they will keep a lot of it in asia as where the demand will be. Beside rember our G when it first came out people were waiting 3-5 months for the next batch and since we are talking about the legendary GTR it could be longer. Also yes I have seen cars selling for more then MSRP example Shleby Cobra GT500 was marked up 15k more then MSRP on the first btach due to the exculsive car.

I agree on what you're saying if that is really the allotment. Somehow I think it would be upwards to 100 cars.

As GZ says I think the only car with inflated MSRP I can recall at least recently is the Shelby GT500. I believe that only lasted for a while though. We'll probably see some but since our price will already likely be inflated compared to US we may not see as much. I guess we'll know soon.

LOL at the $60K markup. The big waiting list they're talking about will be pretty short if that's the case.

The real question here is what are Canadian dealers going to do and how many cars are coming.

I heard a Spec-V will be out next year that would be worth the wait.
