Thanks for the reply, I'm liking this site already. I'll pop the hood and take a look. Its definitely a Canadian Model speedo in Km's.

The cord is usually poked out the front grill mesh but your may have been retracted and placed somewhere under the hood.
As has been said, our cars come with a block heater already installed.
Yours will be lurking under there somewhere....

have a look under the hood for the cord in the plastic pan between the bumper and the radiator/frame.
