Sup guys,
Which insurance company are you currently with? I'm with statefarm paying just a bit over $450/month:(. Only reason it's high is because i'm 21. Although RBC gave me a better quote but still very high:(...

arrghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Sure if you're a seconary driver. Try to get insurance without having you're parents name in it. I'm with statefarm.

Call "The Personal" insurance co. They are extremo friendly, they actually pick up their phones and give you great service. Believe me, I went through insurance companies.

1-888-476-8737

WAAAAAAAY better priced than others. I'm 26, 2 tickets, 1700 a year full coverage for the 08 Gx. Perth and Dominion (CCV) were the most expensive (for my 03 tiburon and 02 camry). PC financial was the second lowest price across the board so try them after you call the personal.

Good luck.

188/month ing through a broker, changing companies this spring, my dad's saved a considerable amount with the new company (same broker), add in the fact that i'll be 25 should mean a considerable savings. but damn, 450$ a month....

monkey009 Mar 7, 2008 02:26 PM

27 yrs old
$81 a month from Johnson Inc, in ALBERTA.

Someone beats mine with $66. Doh!

audiophool Mar 7, 2008 02:29 PM

$87/mo for '07 G35x through ING. No crashes and 1 ticket (Dec/06) in ~20 years.

Personal is good if you have fairly decent record, as in minor tickets. But once you're high risk, you're going to get screwed by Personal.

Perth is good for those who has high-risk or facility insurance.

State farm probably has the lowest rates around IF you have a CLEAN record. 1 ticket, even a minor one, they'll cancel your policy or increase it to super high.

TD insurance is supposably really cheap as well if you have good record AND good career. They actually base your quotes on type of job you have as well, I didn't know this before.

There are plenty of other insurance, but these are what I have experienced with.

I went from $1800/year with State Farm clean record. Then two tickets, and state farm jacked my price to $7600/year. Then switched to Perth and managed to drop to $5800/year, then Perth had suspicion that I wasn't "occassional" driver, so they put me in primary and went up to $14000/year. Then "proved" them that I was occasional, and went back down to $5800.. then sold my beloved 350Z.

Now with a 1988 MR2 SC, I'm paying $3200/year on liability insurance. :(
