Greece is on our list this fall and then we are back to Portugal and Spain next spring. Italy is planned for 2010. I am looking forward to all of them.

Canada's top weatherman says this country's groundhogs got it wrong - and now, as spring arrives, he's forecasting six more weeks of winter weather.
Environment Canada senior climatologist Dave Phillips says don't put away those snow shovels just yet. The first day of spring is one thing, but the first spring day is another.
Lets hope he wrong!

 

Seems like spring to me, but mother nature has fooled me before.

Good posts, Wayne, I hadn't seen the second one. The bit about the railroad was cool, I've been to the site where they pounded The Last Spike in the trans-Canada railroad, at Craigellachie, BC. They have an interesting little historical setup there now. You should stop there on your way through, it's just East of Sicamous, BC on the Transcanada Highway.

Am sitting in Pearson, just about to escape back to Calgary. I tell ya, what is it with my timing and T.O. weather? 2 Fridays ago I narrowly escaped when the blizzard hit, and the past few days that I've been here in T.O./Mississauga the snow is pretty much gone, the roads are dry, but the wind is killer cold!

I was getting ready this morning to head to my client and had to laugh when I saw the traffic report on the news - apparently much of the QEW and 427 was backed up because a trailer carrying cattle tipped over and cows were walking all over the expressway! Must have been a painful commute for those affected!

Ah, the gate announcement just came on the speaker system. Off to Cowtown for me!

Wow, 14 on Sunday in Calgary, huh? I have to spend most of the weekend at the office, but I'm going to make sure to take the Z out from hiding and go on a blast on 1A and the backroads around Bearspaw!
