Awwww, That Felt Good..........

Since it's been raining all afternoon, I decided to take advantage of it and finally give my G a proper hand wash. I've been to the coin-op numerous times throughout the winter to spray all the crap off of it, but haven't bothered to give it a good wash due to the frequency of snow and rain this winter. My G hasn't had a proper hand wash since late September before I left for Portugal. Poor G.

Anyways, it felt damn good giving it a proper bath............almost as good as having sex for the first time.

Not sure if you are asking me or Ian, but we still have some snow on the ground. It's not much at all now, mainly just snow banks. Northern NB is a completely different story though.

Lucky you Shane. Still too cold here.
I'm still waiting also to give the G her first hand wash since before Christmas.

Hopefully your weather will start to cooperate soon Wayne. It's hard to believe that it was pretty much 6 months since the G had it's last handwash prior to today. That's certainly the longest ever for me.

Good stuff Shane. Your G loves you for it.

I've done our cars probably at least every 3 weeks outside this winter. We've had lots of days where it's gone up to at least 5-10 degrees so I've managed to do my duty in this household.

I cant wait for a good hand wash. especially since I undercoated the car and I bought the G in white. I get those occasional pesky black drips and dirty door sills that the coin ops just dont manage to wash completely.

Yes, I religiously believe in undercoating, but I think this will be the first and only time the G will see it, maybe every 2-3 years instead of annually like all my other cars.

What was I thinking buying white? (nodding my head)

Those curves undermeath your palm must have felt really nice .

I gave my car an ONR wash today followed by claying the car and waxing it; but 5 minutes later; I managed to get splashed by a truck..

Speaking of melting, here's hoping.
BTW, when I was picking up some refills for my wipers at one of our local Nissan dealerships ( Paul Coffee )I couldn't resist this detailing package.

Can't vouch for the product, but Glass cleaner, wheel cleaner, car wash, bucket and sponge for about $7 seemed too good to pass up.
I don't know if all Nissan stealerships have this item. If not, and any of you want a set, let me know and I'll pick it up for you.
But it means you'll have to come out to the next meet.
