So you mentioned they weren't good in snow. I was curious, is that true, they aren't much good in snow, even though mine hopefully will never see snow ( don't want salt from the roads on my summer wheels).
Thanks

I had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S (235-45R17) on my M5. Don't even try them on snow. The M couldn't climb a frosted doughnut with them on, LSD or not. Damned scary rubber on snow or ice but good on cold, dry pavement.

That's been my experience. There was once a light dusting of snow on my cul-de-sac and I backed my car halfway off the driveway when I realized I was in trouble. After a couple attempts, I headed into the garage and through some carpeting under the rears and barely managed to get back onto my driveway. A/S they are not. I consider them summer tires.

Hey, not all of us can simply put on our summer CAR, Ian.

I've been thinking about it, but not brave enough so far. Usually mid-April there's not too much risk of more snow. Forecast says we still may get a flurry on Sunday.

Hi Randy.
This is what I use for my wheels. It is called Wheelwax and I get it from this site: http://www.wheelwax.ca/products/10001.html

For my tires I use Zaino Z16 Its the Zaino Perfect Tire Gloss :

Speaking of summers, I think I need to get mine balanced. I get a vibration from the steering wheel at around 120 km/h. The stock wheels with all seasons are fine. Any good places in the Scarborough / Markham area.

If balancing doesn't work check for feathering on the inside... I had to replace my fronts they were so bad, no balancing or alignment would help.
