Thanks guys, just spoke to my insurance, since we're both from same insurance company they already found him 100% at fault, I need to find a body shop now and see if it is on the insurance company's list, if not then I think they will need an appraiser to look at my car first and then I should be able to take it wherever I want. I get my car serviced at Alta in Woodbridge, I was thinking of taking it to their associated body shop. Not sure yet though, for now I'm just leaving my car parked in the garage until I'm done exams on the 22nd.

Jeez, that really is a mess. At first I didn't understand what you meant about him cornering and slamming a few other cars ... but then I went through the pics. What the hell is wrong with THAT guy? It's one thing to get into a four car banger on the highway with other moving cars, but by the looks of it, he was the only one on the move. And his car looks fairly new also.

The lots posted limit is usually 10 km or 15 km's. That's one reason I friggin abhor driving in a parking lot. People walking around, cars always hauling *** for no good reason in such tight spaces. And it NEVER fails ... if you do find a decent spot with no other cars around, some little wingnut will ALWAYS ALWAYS park right friggin next to your damn car and overlook the other 35 empty spots. IDIOTS.

Sorry to hear about your ride man. Good thinking with the pictures and details!

Glad to see they put him at 100% at fault. I wonder if you can sue his *** for more damages.

Wow, That idiot should be thrown in the can for driving like that!!!
I'm sure your insurance will have no issues with assigning liability to him.

Good luck with repairs.
Colin

Yeah he was driving an 08 Corolla that he just bought with his own money, I mean I can understand if sometimes people drive a little fast, but do it on an empty or deserted road or something, who the hell tries to pull that **** in a crowded parking lot. He could've just as easily ran someone over too, and I think even if my car wasn't there, he would've smashed into those cars to my right, cause his tires were screechin, car was probably understeering. I usually park on the other side of the lot cause there's a lot less traffic on that side and I've seen the way some of the other kids on campus drive around in the parking lot, I don't know why I decided to park on that side yesterday, guess my number was up.

I was pretty pissed off yesterday but I've calmed down now since whatever happened happened and can't do anything about it now. I feel pretty bad for that guy still, I mean he's going to pay the consequences for his actions but he is screwed in terms of insurance, has to pay for damages for all those other cars too. He was calling his dad soon after and the guy's a brown guy too, I know I'd be worried about what my parents were going to do to me too lol.

WOW!!!

I am 04 Alumni of Environmental Studies at UW too.

Is the Driver of the corrola by chance a Vietnamese guy?
I have a friend who brought a corolla recently in Waterloo, I hope it is not him.
My friend is not known for a driving safely.

Man the insurance is going to pay a big price for all those repair jobs to those parked cars too.

Good luck with the repair job.

Sorry to hear/see about your accident. I know it's tough to be standing still and seeing a car come at you, knowing it's gonna hit. Dec. 06 was my time for it.
WRT a body shop in our area. Queensway Auto Body at Gage and Belmont did my repairs. They did a very good job. I had Kevin inspect it afterwards. The owner, an old guy named Wib was who I delt with. He was very approachable, the other guy Rob who oversaw it all and was point man is a car guy who took everything I said seriously and acted upon it. The actual person, Roger, who worked on the car was great. He never hurried and let me watch and bend his ear off. He even told me that the painter didn't listen to Rob's instructions to prep and paint everything. The painter just cleaned the rails under the doors. I then went to Rob and pretended I noticed a difference. He went to the painter with me and asked. Made the guy do it.
Was satisfied with their service. If you want, I'd hook up and go there with you, do the introductions, etc.
The also put my g on a Caroline machine or something, that measures corner to corner at parallel and diagonally to check the square or something. One of the few machines of this type in the area. Got a print out and everything. Mine was spot on. Made me feel better about keeping it. I knew it was true
( square ) and it gave me piece of mind.
There is also a body shop that Guelph Infiniti uses, they were my second choice.
GL with whatever you do.

Glad to hear you are alright; but the guy sure was an idiot to do something like that in a crowded parking lot.

Well at least "someone is going to get-a hurt" when they get home from school .

Thanks very much for the info, I have no clue what I'm going to do yet, just want to be done with exams but I'll PM ya once I am done with them and figure out where I want to take it. My car is driveable but I feel embarassed even driving it like that lol and not even sure if I want to drive it all the way to Toronto cause the door doesn't shut properly and there is a bit of gap at the B pillar when fully closed.

Any help I can give is yours. Don't be embarrassed, anyone can tell by the damage that you were the victim.
