Got my G detailed today and Wow!!!

http://picasaweb.google.ca/paulsbby/DetailG35x

As I had mentioned in previous threads, my neighbour details (as more of a hobby than anything) so if you like what you see and you are in the K-W area let me know. He charged $150 to do a filtered wash, clay, polish, wax and anti-static finish. He even, first, wet sanded a half dozen scratches I had in the bumpers. Now I can't find a swirl or one scratch anywhere! It seriously looks far better than when I bought it from the dealer last fall. It's amazing what a good detailer can do.

Looks really good from what I can tell from the pics. I've learned that it's a much more accurate assessment of the job if you have pics before and after under a halogen lamp.

My neigbour has those before and after shots under the lights taken in his garage. Maybe I should post them up when I get them from him. I did have swirls every where and some scratches in the clearcoat. Seriously, there is nothing but shine now.

Definitely post them up, as it will definitely tell what your true paint condition was in. Here is a recent example of what I have been working on just to give you an idea.

I saw that Shane. You should work up a good sweat trying to get those out. Thats bad! I trust you will down a few cold ones during the task at hand?
No way my G was anything like that since I do take good care of it. I just admittedly don't have the talent like some of you guys have with a PC and that is why I got a friend to do mine.
I can't wait to see how it turns out.

well done, looks great. Does he charge this for everyone. It's considerably cheaper then what most people charge for this type of work.

I know! Same price for everyone. It's a hobby to him. He says he loves doing it. Larger vehicle like H2's for $50 more. he going to do a my friends Ridgeline...$150.
Email: bspa@sympatico.ca or you can call Stephan at 519-888-0080.

$150 for complete car exterior:
- wash
- clay bar
- polish/swirl removal (by PC up to 2 times)
- sealer
- wax
- tire dressing
- wheel sealer

$50-75 for complete interior:
- shampoo
- sterilize and sanitize vents
- dashboard cleaned and sealed
- leather cleaned and treated

I know in this day and age we often hear "you get what you pay for" but when Stephan details your car you truly get more than you pay for. He will be happy to tell you what products he uses for diff. conditions.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Nice job. Black is beautiful when it's clean and detailed.

He washed mine Friday evening and then had my car all day Saturday while I was away. I think he said he spent about 7 hours on it.
I know he prefers to wash it the night before if possible. He blow dries it and microfibres it but then likes to give it plenty of time to dry out in those 'drippy spots' like the mirrors.
Just send him an email. He is aware that a couple people from this forum have expressed interest. He said he will be posting some of his work on Autogeek as well.
Email: bspa@sympatico.ca or you can call Stephan at 519-888-0080.

If you want to you can tell him that his neighbour mentioned him on G35driver.
