So Mission Raceway has been opened for a few weeks now. I'd like to put out a feeler for all the Vancouver members as to who would like to come out for Street Legal night May 30? All makes and model cars/bikes welcome.

Friday May 30 Street Legal night doors open at 4:30PM
$30 for car and driver
Helmet required for faster then 13.99 (Motorcycle helmets permitted)
VP Fuels sell race gas on site
Event is weather dependant

i'm thinking about it, as well as my buddy with a 350Z. we've both wondered what we'd run in 1/4 mile.

i see that cars quicker than 14 seconds must use helmets. i think i should be safe there - i wouldn't expect my '04 6mt to break 14. however, what do they mean by "All vehicles must have a functional neutral safety switch" ?
I'm not familiar with what that is...

 

link's dead, it's what keeps the car from being started in gear. (neutral and park (auto), only). all autos have 'em, so should most manuals.

Yeah you got it for the "Nuetral switch" all newer cars have these. Just different terminology.

Yup. Helmet for 13.99 and faster I dont know how badly they enforce though. They will let you get away with a motorycle rated helmt.
