Calgary guys - I was up past Deerfoot Mall yesterday and it looks like the NW corner of the parking lot is a good place to muster since you can see it from 64th as you head for the mall. I'll be there by noon, we'll leave at 12:30 for Sylvan. See you guys tomorrow!

Rain, rain and more rain!
This likely won't be the weekend to get the garden in order.
We're expecting 30 to 40 mm of rain over a three-day period beginning today.
The rain comes on the same weekend that we saw the major flooding in Calgary three years ago.
In 2005 the city had in excess of that amount of rain over a two-day period.
That combined with a snow melt caused the flooding to occur.
There is still a lot of snow in the mountains, and that snow melt will add to the river levels.
660 News Meteorologist David Spence says, we've got high stream flow advisories for some of the rivers and streams including the Bow River upstream of Calgary.
If you are near a stream or water way with a high stream flow advisory, keep an eye on the river levels as the weekend goes on.

Sorry for not joining in the fun of thunderstorms and all but I'm enjoying my own downpour here in Germany (Titisee, Germany, 20mm of rain in the last 5 days). Won't be back into Calgary until the 15th. Hopefully there'll be another meet in the summer. Be interesting to put some faces to the vehicles I see on the roads.
If its cold we can head to my garage I just cleaned it out in case! Luke do you still have your injectors for sale? It might be a good idea to bring your extra parts you want to get rid of.
