My front driver side door just got a deep scratch by some idiots today[img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]. So now I am looking to install a 2-way paging alarm..... Anyone here installed an aftermarket alarm? Which one you got? And approx. how much it cost? Any shop recommendation?

I will be putting a pager alarm in my car... My car got hit & run again.. must install one since my friend is importing car alarm....

I remember at the G35 meeting at Fairview Mall parking lot last fall (I was there but didn't have my G yet --was still driving my old Mercedes), someone with a silverstone 6MT had a high-end alarm, remote starter and (I think?) Boomerrang GPS tracker installed...
But I can't remember who's car that was...

I think that was me. I have the Compustar "Spread Spectrum" alarm. It's a two way with remote start and has over a mile range. It's too bad the first installer that put it in couldn't get it right. I am having another installer trying to fix it right this time.

Otherwise the alarm works great and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to spend the money.

Mid-may is ok...........I am waiting my rims, tires, coilover, sway bar, and front lip anyway.....and don't think they will show up and installed until mid May....[img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img]

 

I will ask my friend if he wants to sell it single unit since he is only the importer...

Is Tein Basic Really all the we need? How about the rear camber?

I was planning to get Tein CS w/EDFC from big_h at the beginning, but unfortunately it is out of stock in Canada. Then I only able found Tein Basic and Tein Flex. And I chose Tein Basic because I am not planning to track my car but I want the height adjustability. Also, more than $1000USD difference between the two [img]/w3timages/icons/wink.gif[/img]

About rear camber, I definitely want to lower more than 1". But the pot hole in Toronto stoppd me to do so.

I am planning to install a DVD, repaint the interior trim, and get a 2-tone seat cover.

 

i was looking into the computustar ss as well..
sammy how much did you pay for yours? cause on ebay they're half what the shop guy quoted me (which was 800)
