Usually if there's something performance related that I can't find on this forum then the Z forum points me in the right direction.
There's plenty of info here though, just takes some time to find what you're looking for. And if you post up something you need help with on here someone is always willing to help. I do kinda wish there was a Toronto/GTA club as I think it would draw in more of the local Gs around.

Bing is talking about consolidating it, the Canadian section of my350z often goes 3 or 4 days with a post....
Bing comes from the 240s and is one of the Son240 OGs, he wants a site that is basically everything under one roof. Son240 is always busy and always has **** going on.

After G35.ca went belly up we started another Canadian G forum it died due to a complete lack of interest. As a social forum it would work but it is tough to beat the info available on here.

this isnt an issue about technical info. SON240 isnt a major source for that either, we use zilvia.net or others... but if you need someone to actually help you then zilvia would be useless.. the canadian section on zilvia is dead because there are such strong local resources for parts, people, events, vendors etc.
kijiji is a better source for G parts than this forum is... it's terrible. when i got into an accident in my S14 a few weeks back i had most of the parts i wanted DELIVERED TO ME within 36 hours of the post for pricing 80% below aftermarket or LKQ from a wrecker... that is the kind of network we need to build for these cars.
most canadian vendors cant crack the Internet Brands forums due to costs... it cost more per month to advertise on here than it does per year on a good canadian forum for example. And canadian vendors can't crack the US market anyways.
I'm sure you're all bright enough to understand the nuances and benefits or having a strong canadian forum so lets not start a debate.
starting up a fresh forum is usually a waste of time for all the reasons i assume g35.ca went under...

Well by all means someone start up a canadian specific forum, I am not sure what we need to make it pan out better than the last two failed forums we had
