How do they sound in person? I have read that they have a very tame sound for what they are. I have also read that there is a 70k markup in Canada for them.

It sounded very clean! i couldn't get pics (damm iphone and your hard to use touch screen while driving standared)

I think he works around mississauga

I was reading it on a few web forums, including the car lounge at vwvortex.com. It may just be a rumor, as I have not personally confirmed it with a dealership.

I was at Oakville Nissan yesterday, and asked one of the reps about the GTR. They are not selling them with a dealer markup, but they are not negotiating pricing either. All vehicles for the near future will be sold at MSRP. In addition, it looks like when your name comes up on the list, you have a choice of taking what they receive - thus you may not get the colour/options you really want.

Yep your are right, you might not get the color you want. Thats exactly what I heard as well...

Okay, that explains it. Pretty unlikely stuff and the post below yours sounds more plausible.

At $70K markup they'll won't be selling anything.

Saw It for the second time today he was passing going west on Brittania and i was going east. Looks like he had dealer plates on, i hope i catch it again after work today so i can snap some pics and talk to the guy to tell him i love his car lol
