You fargin bastage Eric, that is AWESOME bro. I've been mauling over getting an S2000 for what seems like eternity and you land a GT-R. Congrats buddy, I can't wait to see pics. I may of missed it in the thread, but what color did you order?

'Grats, Eric.....I already jumped in and got the IS-F, but the GT-R was what I wanted initially.......
Can't wait to hear details -- Have to talked to the insurance about coverage yet. I'm wondering how bad the premium is on it.

So for all those that are intrested and what this beast is and how much here are some of the details:

Car is stated as 2009 GTR white on black. Now I can't give out the exact price because this is a favor from my dad's friend and the price I got lets just say that is higher then MSRP but nothing like 20K extra or anything like that. There is a black GTR at 401 dixie and I assume is the one where a few of you have seen. Now color yes if you are one of the lucky few who bought the car dealer did say you might not get the first color of your choice but not in my case. Is good to know people in the right industry. Insurance wise because I have a good record and over 30 years old the insurance on this car is just like any other sports car. My rate quoted for the car is at about 2k a year. Not too bad for a super car.

Some might ask if I got to test drive it at the dealer and the answer was yes and they showed me the launch system on the car as well. All I can say is

Now why this long to my car well there is only 150 coming in canada and all cars are hand built so that is why. I had to drop 30K for the car first hand, lets see what else.... Oh they gave me a nice GTR brocheur straight from japan and a key chain so I am drooling over it right now. OTher then that folks I will be holding the first 2009 spring meet at some parking space and i will assume that when the day comes no one will show up right.

I might have to burn $200 bucks in gas to come to that meet! The exhaust on that GTR must sound like a monster or Godzilla!
