After the meet, Dave (in the CB G), Blackie (in the Black Z) and I were all going the same way down the 400 southbound. The on-ramp was just a few hundred meters past where this picture was taken.

I figured Dave (up ahead in the CB coupe) was going to open it up as soon as we hit the on-ramp, so I passed the CRV and got in behind Dave. Then as we hit the on-ramp I killed the VDC and I figure he's going to go, so I'm ready to punch it... Sure enough I hear his supercharger scream and he's wide open! I do the same and somehow I managed to keep up... but I was at redline and chirping each gear to stay with him! Poor Blackie got stuck behind the CRV...

We had clear highway in front except for a black 328 who ran with us for a bit but we both pulled away from him even though I'm sure he was WOT. Anyway Dave has one very fast car. Once I got to top gear he started pulling on me when I was full out.

Eventually we came upon traffic and we of course slowed right down and behaved (although the BMW did do the tardy flyby...), but if we had kept going, Dave's supercharger/ exhaust etc. would have undoubtedly left me behind!
