Hey Guys and Gals,

It's Richie (Administrator) from Torontomaxima.com.

We are on our 7th year BBQ at Torontomaxima.com and since I now drive a G35, I would like to extend this invitation to the Toronto and GTA members of the G community. I know several Maxima owners who have moved into a G and still spend time on our forums. It's a natural progression Maxima -> G. There will likely be several other G's at the BBQ. Even members with other rides still come out to this event. It's always a good time and a friendly atmospehere. Bring yourself, a loved one or a friend.

Reservation has been made for Sunday August 10th, 2008 - 10AM @ Rattlesnake Point in Milton, ON. We have done at least 5 years at this venue and our members love it. The park is beautiful with huge grassy field to park our vehicles and a big shelter with 4 BBQ grills. I will post up pictures of past events later. More details will follow shortly if there's enough interest from the G community. If the G community likes the venue, I would love to plan future events here for you guys. Come check it out.

Rich , I will let you know if Karen and I can make it. As long as us old farts won't look too out of place with some of you young TMEC'ers . I have thought of going for years.

haha, thanks Rich, I checked the TMEC board and I have met a couple guys that are going.. I have been discussing it with my wife, have to convince her now.
I was talking to Roy (Nisman) about the BBQ a couple of days ago.

I looks to be an huge turnout. 35 RSVP's so far. One thing I learnt from past experiences is 25 RSVP's end up being 50+ actual on the day of.

There will be at least 4 other G drivers attending.

I just finished talking to my wife and she isn't really up to the trip since she had major surgery this summer and she really isn't up to the 2.5-3 hour trip there and back.

I was sure I could convince her, but I guess it will be next year. There are many TMEC'ers that I have talked to via email and PM that I want to meet up with.

It would be a fun day, and I know the guys always say it was a great time. Maybe some other folks from this site might want to join in.
