Hi guys, I got this from my buddy's wife. She is concerned that the stealership she would take the car to for service would not give her a loaner. Any thoughts. Would this be true? Any suggestions for service in the Yonge HWY 7 area? If it was me I'd take it to Simone Performance and be done with it.
I've suggested she buy it at Guelph Infiniti cuz they have treated most people I've spoken to, including myself, fairly.

How does the gas compare to the G37 sedan????
I'm looking to get a Ex for myself, got in a accident recently and now i want a safe car, nothing big or nothing to small, EX fits the description.
I drive 110 KM daily back and forth, what do you guys think, is it worth it if it juices???
Also is it a safe car compared to the G or Murano for example.

hugo, I suspect the EX is every bit as thirsty as the G35/G37 sedan, since it's essentially the same car. 110 km/day will cost you a tank of gas a week, which will hurt when prices go back up.

Depending on gearing an weight, it may be even be more thirsty.
re safety....
Just because it's a small SUV 'box on wheels', it's not necessarily any safer than a car.
It's more about how they're put together.
If safety is a primary concern, there are resources for checking the safety rating of a vehicle.
Personally I consider the G a very safe vehicle.
With the accidents that get posted up here, they seem to stand up very well structurally.

Researching the cars for crash test results and air bag comparisons may help answer some questions on safety. To me safety is a hard one to define since it may mean different things to different people. You start to consider braking, handling, AWD, tires, power, design, and safety equipment amongst many all of which have different priorities to different people.

She went with the EX and is enjoying it Wayne. I have no idea what he mileage is. Next time I talk to her I'll ask.
