I would recommend them to anyone learning to drive manual for the first time or to brush up before you jump back into a manual.

This might be a good idea. She did great so far.... in an empty parking lot. Combined with city traffic, on city roads, not so great. She's normally a pretty stressed out driver in an automatic, so I guess the learning manual part overloaded her for a bit. lol.

My G37's muted steering was caused by dealership installed 44psi tire pressures all around. As soon as I took them down to 35 psi the car felt every bit as expressive as my old G35 coupe but with less body roll and more torque. In a parking lot the steering is much lighter but that just comes down to variable-assist power steering. At speed it is very G35 coupe-like, IMO

Are your tire pressures OK?

^+1 Pics!!

I would assume that the G37's suspension is more luxurious compared to G35 after seeing one corner on the street. It looked stable, and yet soft...

Its just the new double-wishbone suspension in front is more comfy than the old coupe's suspension but still rolls less. Win-Win. The wife's new 09 FX35 is the same way -- better ride and better handling from moving to double-wishbone in front instead of the old struts.

When I first took it out, that's exactly what I thought! Checked the tire pressures last night and they were around 41. I put them down to 34, where I liked the G35 before. I didn't check out of shear laziness.

The car does feel better. I still feel it's less communicative, but now I don't know because I can't drive my old car anymore back to back. I think sometimes, when I think fondly of cars I've had in the past, my memory distorts a little. I used to have an old police interceptor crown vic as my ride in school, and I look back to it and still think it was the fastest, best handling, best braking car I've ever owned. lol.

But thanks for the advice on the pressures.
