hi guys, i am from 3 hrs north of gta and should be picking up a 04 g35 sedan black on black near the end of the week. i am leaving the subaru world and coming into the nismo world. gonna have to re-learn alot of stuff. i had a t04e upgraded turbo on the wrx and there alot of differences between these cars lol. i cant wait to get in a rwd car. i am thinking of getting the stillen 2nd generation catback that is kinda a dual exhaust with only one muffler. i like the stockish look. but i am wondering if its a loud catback or pretty quite?? also wanting to get a intake but not a CAI. short ram is prefered. stillen makes a couple of systems and i am not sure what i really want.
nice to get on this fourm, seems like a good community. does anyone have a video or sound clip of the catback from stillen.

thanks alot guys. i am unsure of the type of intake i wanna use. either a drop in filet or either stillen, aem and h+n short ram intakes. i don't wanna mess up my MAF sensors reading. i got into that issue with my wrx i have right now. what is really best for a reliable daily driver?? pretty much all a intake does is make noise for ya. get a couple extra hp so its not worth lossing performance over some noise....

Pop charger/ZTube seems to be the most popular intake combo. I went with just the ZTube and was using a K&N but went back to the stock filter when I saw all the gunk it left on my MAF.

they make noise- loud engine induction and a whistle. Their are different brands. Look in the intake section.

I wouldn't waste your money.

Welcome!

You're going to love having a much nicer interior. Although you may miss the "slingshot" feel the WRX's turbo gives, you'll quickly appreciate the smooth power delivery of the VQ35.

You may also find the G to have more body roll, but searching the forums here will give you all kinds of suspension upgrade ideas.

My buddy had a '05 WRX and later swapped up to an '07 STI. After driving both I felt better getting back into my G.
