Order numbers?

Those of you who ordered in Canada, did your dealer give you an order number? I ordered a little less than a month ago but haven't heard jack from my dealer. Was reading this thread of Fresh Alloy, and it seems that our American neighbours get order numbers: http://forums.freshalloy.com/ubbthre...=&fpart=1&vc=1

Re: Order numbers?

Hey Freezin,

I just got off the phone with my dealer and he gave me an order number with six digits but it doesn't have any letter in front of it like the American's are mentioning. Do you think that we Canadians are on a different ordering system from the USA?

Has anybody else from Canada received their order numbers?

Re: Order numbers?

Thanks for the reply Sammy, I never ended up getting an order number, but I'll be picking up this weekend.

The pain has finally ended. =)

Re: Order numbers?

You are sooooo lucky! I have another 2 months unless my dealer can find a cancellation order before then.

Have fun with your new car. By the way where are you located? I'm near Oshawa, Ontario and what are your specs on the car. I hope we didn't order the same thing, but if we did, oh well, it's all good!!!!

Happy driving!

Re: Order numbers?

Trust me, the wait has been hard. I've been waiting since mid Feb. I'm in Toronto. I ordered a black on black 6MT, without nav. I'm actually having regrets about not ordering the nav, but I don't think I'll be using it that much anyways. It's more just wanting it for the 'cool' factor.

What did you get?

Re: Order numbers?

The way I look at it, the summer will be half over by the time I get to sit in my new car. I just hope there will be alot of nice days left for driving before it gets put away for the winter.

I ordered the Silverstone/Black 6MT w/Navi and even got the dealer to throw in the aluminum pedals for free. I would rather they install them, after reading some of the comments on this and other forums on how much of a pain they are to install.

Anyway I guess you will feel better knowing that you weren't the only one that had to wait so long for his ride.

I'm also thinking of buying 20" wheels for it before I get the car so that I can just swap them before I get the chance to wear the stock tires. Then maybe I can resell the stock tires. Any ideas on rims and are you thinking of doing the same to yours?
