I'm sure some of you guys have seen this add on Kijiji redarding Infiniti parts, just to put everyones mind at ease I just finnished picking up my Intake manifold and gaskets for my Pathfinder from him yesterday, the transaction went great I met him off the 427 at Rexdale Blvd He saved me around $150. as opposed to buying from the dealer. His family owns an Infiniti dealership (so he tells me) thats the reason for the discount, here is the add I coppied from kijiji give him a call if you need anything he did mention things like compression bars for $200 a pair and OEM rotors for $75 each I'll be getting a list of popular parts with quotes shortly.

If His family owns an Infiniti dealership, they'd be in deep schit with Infiniti if they were caught selling out of the back door.

 

Well thats what I couldn't understand...but I did get genuine Nissan parts seald in the box he even asked me to open it to make sure it was to my sastisfaction, the only thing he couldn't give me was the bill or I would have to pay tax but I'm ok with that. I know he mentioned some of the parts even come with warranty.

I'd hate to find out that they burned a hole in my trunk as I drove the parts home.

^good question. The no bill thing is a little concerning though.I can't see how this guy is going to honour a "warranty" on hot parts.

 

Don't the dealers purchase pay in full for the parts then just resell after?

I was temped to respond but just ignored him.

I find this guy highly suspicious on several fronts.

I came across the same add awhile back and he told me he’s well know on g35driver.com, but I could not find any feedback about him on this site so I never bothered to call back.

However he did give me prices which were not extremely cheap, so I wouldn’t think they were hot. He quoted me 06 headlights around $600 and Brembo rotors $900 each.

I think as long as you inspect the item before making the deal would be a good idea.

 

Wayne I haven't checked with him on a MAF because I found a new aftermarket one for $100. and it works fine.
All I can say about this guy is when I bought my intake it came sealed in a box and it was a genuine Nissan part he even got me to open it to see if it was to my satisfaction...you can get a bill from him but he will charge you tax. For warranty on parts you'll have to discuss it with him, I'd rather pay him than order parts on ebay IMHO.
