for those who drive their G in the winter...

i am thinking of getting the OEM bra for winter. i know it is fugly, but i think it will help. what do you guys think? anyone using that for our winters?

I think it will help a lot. I know it is ugly but it will do the job, I wish I got one last year when I bought my car.
I am thinking of buying one this winter, if you find a deal let me know.

Just my opinion, but I think it would do more damage because of sand, salt, etc getting under it.

Get a Clear bra and full bumper wrap

I agree with you on this one Wayne. Back in the day I used "leather" bras and the crap that would build up along the edge was devastating to the clear finish. In the spring when I removed it for a good wash I could see a faded clearcoat line across the hood where the edge of the bra was.
OTOH it did a great job of protecting the front from ice, sand and salt damage. Its a catch 22.

The only thing with clear bra is that it needs to be installed ASAP when new.
It doesn't look too nice covering a bunch of existing rock chips.

No winter concerns here parking my G for the season soon. Driving my old Mazda pick-up for the winter 16 years and counting.

^ +1 for me, I tried that when I bought my 97 Lude and it did just that I had to paint it reguardless.
