I think that is weak.... IMO. The whole point of a home team is to have all your fans there, now half the city will be divided.

^ If the ticket price is half also i think it would be a awesome idea, ive been to numerous Leaf games which were given as gifts through work AND i would never pay $200+ for lower bowl!

Don't you first need ONE team??

Can't talk to much the way my Shames have started the season...

I think it would be great from a fans perspective (if it would lead to lower ticket prices), but I'm not so sure it's a positive move from the league's perspective. I've never been a fan of expansion myself.

I think they should concentrate on the team they have now.

They were pretty good for about four minutes in the last Battle of Alberta. Unfortunately, that's all they needed.

The article eludes to a new team possibly renting out the ACC from the Leafs.

I doubt it will happen. If it did moving a weaker team there might be a step forward for the league, rather than expansion.

Dear Health Minister:
Q: The Stanley Cup was recently on tour in my town, and I kissed it. Do I have to worry about being infected by listeria?
A: You are safe. The Stanley Cup has not been in contact with any Maple Leaf product in over 40 years.

^ I agree...
The only way it'd happen is id Mr. Ballsly gets his hands on an existing team.
& he's specifically interested in Hamilton, not Toronto.

Well, it would double the chances of Toronto winning the cup.
I don't think Ballsilly will ever get a team. I've heard from those that know him he just doesn't rub people the right way, he gets away with it when he has the power, but it just doesn't work when you are looking to join a group (wasn't Mario just a little peed off at him? lol). I'd like to see Hamilton get a team, that town needs something in a bad way.
