Is this a good deal?

Hey guys, I've been lurking on these forums for a long time and I'm at the point of pulling the trigger and buying a G.

I'm checking this car (private sale) this week and I'm wondering what I should offer for the car (this is in Western Canada)

- 2006 G35 Coupe, Black on Black
- Automatic Transmission
- Sports pkg w/ 19" wheels
- Nav
- Mileage: 26-27k

The listed price is $33k. I'm thinking of starting my offer around $30k but not going past $31k. How does this sound? Do you think I can push for lower?

Thanks

sounds about right. i think the car is valued around $29k retail for the 6mt sport. private sales always look for higher... so you're totally in the ballpark. good luck with the buy

would you suggest I start at $30k and then work my way up to a max of $31k? Or should I start lower (like $29k)?
