Gtm 4.2 850 bb tt

I have not been out here for a year now and its time to say good bye to my modifed stage 4 stillen, The best it would put out was 302 RWHP ( 5 AT ). It ran the 1/4 in 13.09 @ 107. I hurt the moter bad as i was running 9 lbs of boost. It smokes a lot and burns a litre of oil every 750 km. The engine lasted 45000 km, the limiter was set a 7200 rpm.
In its place is going a GTM 4.2 with the wolf 850 turbos. I have all the parts but Sam at GTM will rebuild my 5 AT this winter. I am missing a few parts for the turbos, does any body know were i can get the exhaust manifold studs and nuts ? I also need a dual air cleaner set up as im feeding the turbos with there own intake.
The ecu is a haltec. The shipping, duty, and taxes are brutal.
The target with the modified tranny is 650 to 675 RWHP.
I just picked up Jerrmy Tibbs ( Performance Factory ) turbo 400 tranny with all the mounting brackets, adapter plate and drive shaft. We are then going for 800 to ???? rwhp. 25 to 28 lbs of boost.
The 1/4 mile time should be low 10's. The only problem is that the car has to have a cage in it. Im a member of the Ontario Z club and looking forward to drag day next year!
Its a big project and im taking my time on it. The pocket book is also hurting.
Im picking up a 06 G 35 x in March and the stillen set up is going on it.
I wish that it would be ready for the z shoot out in March but i will have to wait for 2010 for that.

Will keep you guys posted.

you don't need a stroker or sleeves to pull out 800 to the wheels. don't waste money on needless crap. Definitely keep us posted on the build.

He already has all the 4.2L.
Keep us posted for sure I would talk to GTM about getting all of the misc parts. I would custom fab the air intakes. I would think OEM header studs would work? If not get some from JWT.

I wouldn't boost that high with the 4.2L stroker, trust me. If you were to do the 3.8L stroker, then it may last longer.

With the 100mm bore on the 4.2L, the head gasket doesn't have too much surface to seal. Keep that in mind if you want to run high boost.

And low 10's? Not trying to rain on your parade, but it takes a lot more than HP on a full weight G35 to hit low 10's. Even on a TH400 tranny.
