Hi.

I'm a newly minted G35x owner as of Dec 31. (Happy New Year!)
It's a 2006 Liquid Platinum on Black. 102k. Loaded minus factory nav.
I am a longtime (as in forever) moderator of torontomaxima.com. Hence the name 'MarkhamMax'. I actually meant to create a new name here 'Markham x', as I put in my pics, but out of years of pure habit signed up with my Maxima name. Can I change my screen name here after I have registered?
The Maxima is a 1992 VE30DE manual, which was originally a 1991 Auto. It was swapped with the fine help of Vic Simone from Simone Performance in Newmarket. It's mostly a project car now. Not great in cold weather, finicky in its old age, and I thought it was time to get something reliable with a 2 year old in the back seat now. Enter the G.
Although, after only 3 days of ownership I am seeing a healthy pool of oil on the ground under the G. I've been searching on here for 06 sedan specific oil leak issues if anyone cares to chime in. Otherwise, ******* loving my new purchase!

looking good Markham X! i guess you're from Markham then?

i've never heard about oil leak issues with the G, although, with my old car, i got some Stop Leak from crappy tire and it seemed to have fixed the problem...

pm Intgr8r for name change. he should be able to help!

Welcome!

Well I was in Markham (Thornhill) until November. Just moved to North York, but the screen name has to stay.
Yeah, I can't find oil leak issues either, other than the oil pooling issue. Hoping it's something small like a bad drain plug, and not a gasket leak.

Thanks for the heads up.

next time you do an oil change, check the drain plug washer. the washer might just be failing to do its job and leaking oil.

Hey Hadley, Welcome to the site

There are quite a few people here from TMEC (Arthur, Roy, Eugene, Faisal, Rich, Himanshu etc, just to name a few).

If you want your name changed to Markham X , one of the Administrators can do that for you, no problem. Send InTgr8r, Garenet Canuck or Msedanman a PM to request the name change.

Hey guys. Been registered here for a bit now, mostly been a lurker. Some of you have seen my silver 2003 Maxima up at Simone's shop sometimes, recently I had a black Altima for a few months and just last week I picked up my 03.5 sedan. It was bone stock, but I've made a few changes already.
