Went with some friends to watch Cronicles of Riddick at the Cineplex at the Queensway. In the parking lot a saw a brand spanking new 2005 sedan. Same colour as the pics floating around on the net. (the pics are 100% accurate) Had the same 18" rims , the new grill, front fascia and side skirts etc. The rear tail lights have 2 circular arrangements of LEDs. It looked pretty good, but I'm not too crazy about the new blue colour though. Still kinda pissed since I just picked up a 2004 AWD last month.

 

Cool. From the looks of it, would the rear tails be able to fit in our 03-04 spots? Or is it a totally different shape?

What was the front bumper like?
Were the pics accuate. I'm trying to decide whether to order the sport bumper skin (while they are still available) or use an '05 skin when they come in.

The pictures on Nissannews is accurate the bumper looks exactly like that. Not sure if the new bumper would fit directly since there was some mention of a different grill. The grill did look slightly different, it was not as chrome looking couldn't really tell if there was any differences in the shape. I am also wondering if the side skirts would fit ours as well.

As for the rear lights they look like they should fit ours, I was focusing more on the LED arrangement than the overall enclosure.

 

I thought 2005 G35 models were not available until October 2004?

 

Would you say it looks like the M45 for the rear lights.

Yes actually I noticed that picture the other day and the new 2005 tail lights look almost exactly like those. Well the red part, not the yellow part, that is how the LEDs are arrange in those two circular patterns.
