Thanks Vic & Christine...

Sound like the turnout was huge and the event a big success. It really sucks that I missed this but my G is in the shop for a much need makeover. Thanks for not calling me Phil! That and I was busy planning another BBQ which is also sponsored by Simone Performance

That brings me to my next topic (*smooth*). I hope I'm not thread jacking but I wanted to bring up the Torontomaxima.com BBQ since we are on the topic of BBQs and Simone Performance See it's not so off-topic. As a handful of you know, Torontomaxima.com is on our 8th Annual BBQ in 2009. The meet originated with Torontomaxima.com but certainly doesn't stop there. Especially since I own a G35 Sedan myself.

For the most part, we are a mature group of auto enthusiasts. Some of the G drivers on here came from Torontomaxima.com as the move to a G from Nissan's flagship Maxima was a natural progression. I know many of you still frequent our forum for its friendly community. This year's BBQ, I really would like to get a big turnout from the G community and that's the intention of this post.

If there's enough interest, I'd like to get more award classes than just "Other Nissan/Infiniti". Judging by this RSVP, getting 50+ G drivers isn't impossible. The venue we use can certainly accommodate. So while I have everyone's attention, I'd like to take this opportunity and extend an invitation to the Toronto and GTA members of the G community. It's always a good time and a friendly atmosphere. Leave the attitude at home. Bring yourself, a loved one or a friend. I really hope to see some of you there.

Those of you who also lurk TMEC who are attending, let the other G35Driver's know.

I will post up more details if there's enough interest shown. Thanks!

- Richie
