Definitely should bought the tires from US.......after the tax+duty, my set of 245/35/19, 275/35/19 Toyo T1-S only cost me sightly below $1500CAD. (But I still have no news on my HRE yet [img]/w3timages/icons/frown.gif[/img])

lol... that's the big dilemma! I got these wheels because I wanted a different look and at the same time have something lighter and stronger than stock for the track, but since the tires are so pricey for the 10.5 width, I'm thinking of "using up" my Michelins for the track before I switch over.

One of the STi guys who will be there has a full suspension setup, sway bars and he took out the back seat to minimize weight. Anyway, he told me his forged rims weigh 7 pounds each! So since I can't compete with that anyway, I am just going for fun and keep the Michelins on for now. I was hoping to use the stock rims for LM-22's this winter... but I hate to take off the current tires while they're still good. We'll see.

Anyway, see you both at the meet in July!

Those are the same sizes I need. That's a good deal. Did you get them from Tire-Rack?

I haven't shopped around yet... I'd rather buy them, get them mounted and balanced at the same place locally if possible, but I'll buy them from the States if need be.

I like those TS-1's. I'm thinking of those or probably Bridgestone S0-3's.
