are s-techs springs, or coilovers, or what? if just springs it is certainly something you could do for the cost of renting/buying a spring compressor, and maybe beer for a friend. it is a fairly simple DIY with lots of samples & instructions available with some quick research.

i did my spring & shock swap in 4 hrs with a friend, and i'm no shade-tree mechanic. plus it's satisfying doing it yourself.

you will need an alignment AFTER 1-2 weeks of driving. for the shop to do this right away would be a mistake. the suspension must settle before doing an alignment.

 

igarage in Markham...$140 for the install of the springs and struts, however I don't know if they do alignments.
