New to G35 Driver from Toronto... hello everyone!
Hi Everyone,
I found this 'Canada' forum today by searching around on the internet for a 'Toronto' based forum, where I can communicate with G35 drivers and enthusiasts.
Is this the forum most of you from Toronto use?
I picked up my beautiful 2005 G35 M6 last night! Loving it already!
I'm new to the Infiniti world as I used to drive a Honda, and wow... what a different car this is!
Looking forward to communicating with you all.

Wow!
This forum IS very active.
3 replies in less than 15 minutes!
Awesome!
The car is in the garage last night and man oh man, was it extremely nerve wracking driving it home. I'm new at driving stick, and I was so scared of first gear and stalling and holding up traffic. All is fine when I get it going though. I need way more practice... just waiting for the weather to get better.
Do most of you GTA G35 driver's drive stick or auto?
Any advice or pointers you can share?

There are a few old threads on 6MT tips.
A search should give you some info.
Also IIRC Youtube has a few good vids as well.
I think you'll find 5AT is the most common.
BUT... real drivers prefer stick.

Okay, I haven't spent much time browsing and searching around on the site yet as I'm at work. I'll do that later on tonight and definitely over the long weekend.
I had a question regarding tire size.
I changed the rear tires with Falken FK-452, in a 245/40/19 OEM size.
However, the fronts are OEM Bridgestone in a 225/40/19 size... but to my surprise, Falken does not make that exact tire size.
If any of you are running Falken FK-452's up front, I'm just curious which tire size did you end up selecting? Does a slight difference in tire size for the fronts affect the overall performance, odometer reading, or safety of the vehicle?
I would prefer keeping the tires the same all around, but in the meantime, there's still some thread left in the fronts... so, no rush...

Oh, Welcome L23Tan. This is a great group.
Hi Picus,
I noticed your signature... gtaindetail... are you Kevin?!
If you are... you'll probably remember me!
It's Leo... the one with the black Civic that you have on your website... remember, the 'cool paint' on my car? I also met your European buddy that day... I forgot his name... he also drives a Bimmer.
I told you about my Civic getting written off back in October... and now... here I am on G35Driver. I never thought I'd get a G35, but I'm happy I did!
Glad to know you're on the forums!
Talk to you soon!
