Which reminds me of when I lived in Oakville in the 60's when the first Tim Horton's opened -- (not sure if ours was the first, but if it wasn't it was close to the first) -- Talk about 'investment oportunities'.

BTW, does anyone remember Tim Horton and who that dude was? I'll bet he's rolling over in his grave....

Did you know that Tim Horton was a "freemason"?

I brew my own Timmies, so no need to wait in line for 20 minutes at the store. You can't get near those dang places in the morning.

He did at the end of his career.
Actually he was killed driving his Pantera back to Buffalo after a game in Toronto.

Colin, do you remember the defense of the Leafs when Horton was around?

(Tim Horton & Allan Stanley), (Bobby Baun and Carl Brewer)
...can you imagine a team with a defense like that now!

Wow, don't those names bring back some fond memories..

I do remember, Ian.....and no, I can't imagine it today......My whole family watched hockey back then, (yes even Mom) because many of the players were so talented...... -- it was such a treat.

As I said, Tim H. is probably rolling over in his grave lately over 'watered down' talent, especially on the Loaf's team....

I must say tho, that there are still a few whom I enjoy watching such as Ovechkin, Crosby, Sundin to name a few.....

C.

Must go. On my way to winning a Venza.

Tip: on top of the cash, the sign would show how many winners this location has. Go to whichever tim hortons that has more winners than other locations. They usually have more winning cups!

The winning cups for the bigger prizes are inserted into the cup stacks, by hand, as they are loaded on the trucks with heavy security on hand to ensure 'no foul' .
The truck drivers are not allowed to exit their tractors during the process to ensure they have no idea what stack has a big prize. In fact, sometimes they will pretend to put a big prize winner in the truck as a bluff. This ensures that the drivers never know for sure if they are hauling a big prize.
Rest assured that the brass at Timmy's know exactly which store location that every major winner will (should) be sold.
