Lowered guys running camber kit?

So I'm on the fence if I should install camber kit in the spring or not.

Is it really worth it? Anyone running on camber kit currently?

I know you can flip the tires every season or so to even out the tread but seems like a hassle?

GTA guys can relate, our roads and highways are quite linear so I guess proper camber would make a better ride possibly? road noise, shaking, etc....

i'm on z suspenders with no camber kit. i'm in spec with no issues. if you lower more than 1" you will likely need a kit.

i got a rear camber kit, cost $200-$250 depending where you buy it (for an 08GX).

If it saves you a few years life on your 200-300 tires, I'd say it's worth it. All you're really saving is a few years life on your inner treads. If you don't care about it, or can't justify the cost for the kit on those inner treads, don't bother. You won't notice a difference, performance wise. (in fact you will probably hook even better with the extra neg. camber)

It really depends how far you've dropped your car when I dropped my Sentra Spec-V it took me 2 weeks to get in at the shop I wanted it aligned at and I KILLED a brand new set of tires that I REALLY liked. I killed them because my car was WAY out of spec. toe and camber.

^ that's the worst combo.
It's the toe with the added camber that really kills it.

I am lowered a fair bit over an inch for sure I have been running an SPC rear kit. It helps a ton I didn't have a front kit after two summers maybe 15,000km my front tires are screwed (I flip them like you) replacement cost on the tires $800 the front camber kit was $400-500 so I think in the long run it will pay for itself. I do run rather wide tires (275 fronts)so that makes the replacment cost killer.

I'm on Tein S-Techs 1.9 drop and I haven't noticed any wear on any of my tires, mind you I've changed wheels every year for the past 4 years. .....what can I say I'm with wheels like a woman is with shoes.

Hmm seems like it's worth it in the long run, general consensus SPC camber kit?

I'm on basics at about 1.25 i think

at 1.25 you may not need it... just order eibach camber kit for the rears... they're made by spc and is usually cheaper.

The rear kit helps even factory ride height cars with the rear tire feathering problems. At stock height my rears were always worn on the inside now I am lowered and get even wear with the SPC rear kit.

If you guys corner hard enough and get the tires to flex enough, then you can wear out the outer treads, that's how I fixed my abnormal camber wear

There's 19" Volks on my G and I have the front fender level with the top of the tire. Went through a set of Toyo T1R's in 15k. Camber kit helped afterwards.

If you're worried about wear or bad camber after lowering, take it to Woodbridge Alignment, they are good for slammed cars.
