What ever you choose, be sure to get something corrosion resistant.

I had the ksports on my old ride stiff ride but made it fun.
check out the classifieds on here. they've got some pretty good deals going on right now. as well as the personal classifieds - they have some good listings in there (that I missed out on as well)

there are going to be some new coilovers in the market this season by AMS. its kinda the equivalent of Z1 in the states for canada. and i believe they are going for slightly over 1k cuz they are just braking into the market. amszstore.com if they not on the web then call the store and ask to talk to Vuk

You should consider KWs or JICs. Both of these are good brands to use.

lol... I wish I had a dollar for every time this ? has been asked.

..generally > 1" drop, most likely you will not get alignment to spec.

Are you running stance coils on the G?
If so how you like the ride?
I called a few vendors in the states they said stance over megan

Stay away from Megan, someone from Neon (or it could be cavalier) forums did a shock dyno test. All 4 corners of the megan coilover was uneven dampening rate.

I've got OEM style Stance GR+ coilovers on my G and i've been really happy with them. I got mine while I was in Chicago from THMotorsports. If you can find them in Toronto, i'd say that's the way to go for entry-priced (but well-featured) coilovers - definitely a better deal than Tein Basics. You can easily get them with custom spring rates (I went with 12kg/11kg and the ride is stiff but won't break your back), replacement parts are easy to get (not that i've needed any) and they seem to be really well built. The shock bodies are some of the biggest i've seen for a coilover.
