^I see it's pretty nippy there now. We're about +2 now this morning.

Old man winter keeps trying here. We get several inches of snow each day and then it warms, rains and melts. Well we've got another 3 weeks of this and the G should be on the road.

I'm hoping to get my G on the road as well in about three weeks. It was above zero yesterday and now -10c and we still have tonnes of snow yet to melt. I am optimistic though. Getting a few +zero days this week.

I gave the X a good hand wash in the driveway a couple of days ago,

Sure felt good running my fingers over her curves once again with the warm soapy suds. I could tell she liked it too

Haha, you're getting me revved up to take her out of hibernation for a warm soapy bath.

Good stuff! I've not missed the first part of April with my ride since 1980 living here.

We got 3" on Friday which left Friday night and we've got another 3" today and still snowing. It's forecast for a bit of rain later. Underneath this fresh stuff is about 8" of basically ice because of our hard thaw/freeze cycles, freezing the snow. You can't even get a steel shovel to penetrate the surface. That will take quite a number of warm days to melt.

Here's hoping to an ice and snow free April 1st!

Gosh, You guys west and east and even north, have it worse than we do.......(sorry)..

Here it's spring-like, crocuses are trying to sprout, warm sunny weather (mostly) ----sure it's wet and muddy at times but hay, by and large, it's not bad at all.....A good pre-empt to my favourite season: Spring.

With all the runoff and some rain in the watershed, the local rivers are very high again and about to burst their banks....
If this keeps up, I'm gettin' the canoe out....

Keep the faith folks.....It will get better soon wherever you are. I promise.
