I just purchased my G about a month ago, I'm at a Xroads with what to do with my rims. I currently have 17inch aftermarket rims (not sure what they are) that came with the G. They don't look that bad, I don't mind them, I would prefer to have Type M's but I don't think that's in my budget this yet. I currently have winter tires on the wheels, and I'm wondering if it would be more worth while to save my cash and buy a new wheel setup and continue driving on my winter tires until late spring/summer starts, or if I should just buy new rubber for my 17's and don't both with wheels until next year.

I'm in Wininpeg, Manitoba, so I got a little while before all the snows gone .

This is my first car so I'm still trying to figure out all the small particulars.

 

My 2 cents, keep the 17's for winter. Check out the marketplace, Canadian and US for OEM 18"s with tires. You can often find a good set for less than what new tires ( in Canada ) will cost. If you buy from the states do a search re shipping / buying from the US for tips on saving $. GL
