so tempted to put my rims on

So easy for me to swap, I could do it for a day, then swap 'em back, but I won't bother. Calling for snow overnight tonight.
FWIW, I did a search for some thoughts/supplies/process on detailing rims. Lots of stuff to read, too much. Anyone want to share their simple step by steps for those of us with poor memory retention? Maybe a dedicated tread, Getting your summer rims ready.
Then I store my summer rims and tires away, ready for installation in the spring.
I do the same thing to my winter set-up when I remove them.
I don't like to leave the wheel and tires dirty fwhile in storage.

Sam, I always wash my rims and tires well when I remove them (this year I also clayed my rims, prior to waxing). Then I give the wheels a couple coats of Wheelwax or Poorboys Wheel Sealant on both sides. After that I give the tires a good coat of Zaino tire Dressing on both sides. After that is done I also give the lug nuts a coat of wax.

I will try to follow your example, Oh Wise One, when I take the winters off.
