Just picked up a '06 G35 coupe. Should I lower it?

Hello everyone on G35Driver!!! I just picked up a '06 G35 coupe MT, it is a good car, and sounds amazing! But there is one little thing about it that I want to change, which is the ride height... With the Standard 19" Rims, the car seems to be sitting a little bit too high. If want to lower it a bit, then what do you guys think I should do? I don't plan on tracking the car, so is just lowering it with springs adequate? And what brand should I go for? Thanks for looking, and sorry for being a noob for modding cars! Please help this noob out and sorry for the long thread!

Ya springs work but the rear camber is out then so your rear tires will wear out on the inside edges fairly quick. SPC sells a rear camber/toe adjustment kit I would suggest you get one of those with your springs they are usually under $200.
Welcome to the board what part of Canada are you from? There is lots of great info on modding cars on this site. Feel free to PM me if you ever have questions I am far from knowing it all but my car is fairly moddified and I did the majority of the work myself.

Welcome to da club!!!

Just do it, I have mine dropped with Eibach Prokit. Have some clearance issues with some speedbumps at some plaza's, just means I have to walk a little further

Welcome to the club!
I picked up my 05 G35 Coupe 6MT about a month and a half ago.
The car surely does sound amazing!

Looks like you're going to start modding right away!
Happy modding!

Once it starts, you don't stop...

Everyone here is very helpful. I'm sure you will have lots of suggestions.

My car is bone stock, so I have no suggestions, sorry.

Drop it with Eibach Sportline Kit. Pro kit is still too high. Good luck with modding the G.

Sportline kit might be ok in South Florida with the warmer climate and better road conditions, but in Toronto with our winters....

Prokit is low enough, would also depend if you are driving your car year-round..this is my daily driver all year round. As I mentioned b4 I already have clearance issues over some speedbumps and the incline of underground parking garages.

Drop it!!!

Look around in the coupe sections at other owners cars. Just remember that you are in Canada and we get snow in most parts.

Eibach, Tien, a set of 350z springs, H&R just to name a few

Def look into a camber kit from SPC, you will need it if you are going to go low!!!!
